15 agreements, including environmental and urban planning, were signed between Türkiye and Algeria.
President of the Democratic People's Republic of Algeria, Abdulmecid Tebbun, came to Ankara at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. After the tete-a-tete meeting between the two leaders at the Presidential Complex, meetings were held between the delegations. Afterwards, the signing ceremony of the agreements between the two countries took place.
Between Türkiye and Algeria; 15 agreements were signed in the fields of education, environment, industry, technology, trade, public works, communication, social services, cross-border organized crime and culture/tourism signed.
Environmental Cooperation Agreement Signed with Algeria
Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, met with Tarek Belaribi, Algerian Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, at the Presidential Complex. At the meeting, investments in urban planning, the work of TOKİ Housing Development Administration of the Republic of Türkiye and the health city project planned to be established in Algeria were discussed. At the signing ceremony that took place after the talks, the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Environment" was signed between the governments of the two countries.
