The project serves 63,000 people.
Aytaç Yüksel, Director General of the European Union and External Relations and Head of the Programme Authority of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, examined the Akşehir Water and Wastewater Project, which was completed in Akşehir district of Konya within the scope of the EU Environmental Operational Programme (IPA-I). Akşehir Mayor Salih Akkaya accompanied Yüksel on his visit.
Within the scope of the project, which has a budget of 13.2 million euros, a Wastewater Treatment Plant with a capacity of 15,102 m3 /day and a wastewater collector of 33 km were built. The project has the capacity to serve 63,000 people.
