The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization’s Department of European Union Investments (DoEUI) and the European Union Delegation (EUD) to Turkey held a meeting on April 14, 2016 in order to follow-up and discuss co-financed projects. Topics included the latest developments in projects, as well as problems faced during the tendering and implementation phases of such projects and how to overcome them.
The meeting began at 10 a.m. at the Ministry and was chaired by Mr. Ferruh Parmaksız, Director of the DoEUI. Other members of the DoEU who attended were Ms. Özlem Esengin, Coordinator of the Director, Unit Coordinators of the Department, and staff from the Procurement Unit, the Technical Implementation Unit and the Programming Unit. Participants from the EUD included Ms. Virve Vimpari, Deputy Head of Section along with Sector Manager and Team Coordinator Ms. Elif C. Torcu, Procurement Manager Mr. Özgür Öcal, Environment & Infrastructure Officer Ms. Hatice Altınoklar ve Sector Manager Ms. Özge Gökçe Aktaş. This meeting is held on a monthly basis.
