Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Mr. Murat Kurum, held a meeting with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Mrs. Odile Renaud Basso, and her accompanying delegation.

8 Environmental Infrastructure Projects Worth 520 Million Euros Were Discussed

During the meeting, the works carried out in earthquake zones and 8 environmental infrastructure projects worth a total of 520 million Euros to be implemented within the scope of the Post-Earthquake Reconstruction Project were discussed. In addition, Türkiye's goals to combat climate change and its investments in this area were shared with the guest delegation at the meeting.

Cooperation Will Continue to Become Stronger

Minister, Mr. Murat Kurum, also gave information to the EBRD delegation about the projects planned within the scope of the reconstruction and revitalization of our cities. Thanking Mrs. Basso for the solidarity shown after the February 6 earthquakes,  Minister Murat Kurum expressed his belief that the cooperation that has been going on for more than 15 years will continue to grow stronger.
