Department of EU Investments visited the Environmental Technology Fair IFAT 2016.

With the support and encouragement of the Minister Mr. Mehmet Özhaseki, the Department of European Union Investments (DoEUI) participated in the world’s largest environmental technology fair "Environmental Technologies and Waste Management Fair IFAT 2016" held between 30 May and 3 June 2016 in Munich, Germany.
Headed by Mr. Ferruh Parmaksız, Director of the DoEUI, the Ministry delegation consisted of Tolay Yılmaz, Advisor to the Director, Engineers Fatih Özyar and Özgür Uğraş, Environment and Urbanization Assistant Expert Şafak Işık Senior Expert İlhan Gültekin and the Deputy General Director of the General Directorate for Protection of Natural Assets Mustafa Oklan.
The visit was carried out in line with the objectives of the department to provide continuous support to its employees, enabling them to follow developments in the latest technologies and improve their expertise. The experts visited the stands of the worldwide technology leaders, benefited from the presentations made by leading companies in the sector and received detailed information about technologies and products used.
At the ‘International Water, Water Treatment Plant, Waste and Recycling Fair’, which celebrated it’s 50th year, the delegation had the opportunity to review world's latest technological solutions and innovations in the sectors of water, waste water, recycling, sustainability, smart management of resources, biological waste water treatment, waste, drinking water treatment, storm water and sewage and more.
