The kick-off meeting for the “Technical Assistance and Supervision for Akçaabat Water and Wastewater Project” coordinated by the Department of EU Investments within Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, has been realized on 26/02/2014 with the participation of representatives of our Ministry, EU Delegation, Trabzon Municipality, Akçaabat Municipality, the consultant Ramboll – Alter consortium, the Contractor MPE Engineering and local press.
The following studies will be performed under the mentioned project :
- Water Treatment Plant (WTP) with a capacity of 18000 m3/day
- Construction of 60,5 km network line.
- Construction and renovation of 12 reservoirs.
- Construction of 21,3 km water transmission line.
- Construction of 13,6 km distribution line.
- Construction and renovation of new reservoirs.
- Renovation of 3 existing pumping stations.
- Establishment of local monitoring system.
