The kick-off meeting for the “Technical Assistance and Supervision for Akçaabat Water and Wastewater Project” coordinated by the Department of EU Investments within Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, has been realized on 19.06.2013 with the participation of representatives of Akçaabat Municipality, our Ministry and the consultant Ramboll – Alter consortium.
The tender process of the Works contract is ongoing and after the completion of the tender; the following studies will be performed:
-Water Treatment Plant (WTP) with a capacity of 18000 m3/gün
-Water transmission line with a diameter of 600 mm from Işıklar water intake structure to the WTP.
-Construction and renovation of new reservoirs.
-Supply and installation of pumps for replacement of existing pumps in existing pumping stations.
-Renewal and new construction of water distribution network.
-Establishment of local monitoring system.
