Mr. Idris Gulluce, Minister of Environment and Urbanization has met Ms. Lenita Toivakka, Minister of European Affairs and Foreign Trade from Finland in his office on February 5th of 2015.
In the meeting, which also witnessed the participation of Mr. Ferruh Parmaksız, Head of our Department? Mr Idris Güllüce, Minister of Environment and Urbanization stated that the volume of trade between two countries could be further extended, and underlined that Turkey has achieved a great development in construction, treatment and environment sectors. Mr. Gulluce stated that he would like all means of investment in Finland to be made available for Turkey, and the construction, treatment systems and and industrial facilities to be built by Turkish companies.
Ms. Toivakka stated that Finland was ranked as the second country last year in the global innovation index in terms of clean technologies, and therefore they are well willing to cooperate with Turkey in this regard.
