A Conference aiming at information exchange on the IPA II, the second period of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) covering the years 2014-20, with the participation of candidate /potential candidate countries and international financing institutions was held on 25 January 2013 in Brussels.
Deputy Undersecretary, Mr. Bahaettin Kaptan, Head of EU Investments Department, Mr. İsmail Rac, Bayer, Coordinator, Ms. Şermin Özdemir and Mr. Bülent Yalazı have been participated to conference by representing the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization as a Operating Structure of Environment Operational Programme established under third component of Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance.
Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry of EU, Mr. YÜCEL has also made a presentation in the conference on Turkey's experience gained during the first period and expectations from the IPA II term.
European Commission has shared the Road Map and schedule for new programming period and preparation studies for new Environment Operational Programme has been started by coordination of Ministry of EU.
