Announcements concerning the project applications for “Climate Change Adaptation Grant Programme” have been released as of 14.10.2020, which was released by European Union and Republic of Turkey within the scope of IPA-II term Environment and Climate Action Sector Operational Programme, and which is projected to be carried out by our Ministry with the support of United Nations Development Program.
The total funds allocated for projects to be supported within the scope of the Programme is equal to 6.800.000 Euros, and the deadline for pre-application is 30.11.2020.
With a global objective of the enhancing the climate change adaptation in Turkey, the specific objective in the grant programme is to improve the durability of communities and cities, to protect the natural resources and ecosystems, as well as increasing the adaptation capacity of the economic sectors that are prone to be affected.
Non-Governmental Organizations (associations and foundations, etc.), Municipalities, Local Governments (Regional or Provincial Directorate, Special Provincial Administration, Governorship, etc.), Universities or Research Institutions / Centers, Development Agencies, Non-Profit Local Level Businesses such as Trade Unions, Cooperatives, Chambers, Professional Organizations and Organizations Representing the Private Sector can lodge applications for grant projects with a term between 12 to 18 months.
Informative meetings will be held through online platforms on November 23, 26, 28, 30, and November 2, 4, 6, with the objective to introduce the Grant Programme, and to provide detailed nformation with regards to preparation of project proposal.
