The kick-off meeting for the “Technical Assistance and Supervision for Bulancak Water and Wastewater Project” coordinated by the Department of EU Investments within Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, has been realized on 11.07.2013 with the participation of Kadir AYDIN, Mayor of Bulancak Municipality, representatives of our Ministry, Ludwig-Vestan-Aker consortium and the consultant WYG-Haskoning-DHV consortium.
The Works contract of the project has been signed on 19.03.2013 and the commencement date of the Works is 17.07.2013. The contract value is 9.808.614,84 Euro and duration of the contract is 730 days. In the scope of the contract, the following works activities will be carried out:
- Replacement of house connections (7000 pieces)
- Replacement of Water Network (approx. 103.6 km)
- Construction and renovation of new reservoirs.
- Construction of new pumping stations and renovation of existing ones.
- Replacement of 22.64 km transmission lines.
- Construction of Chlorination System.
- Establishment of local monitoring system.
