The Public Diplomacy Coordination Board convened under the chairmanship of Presidential Communications Director Altun. At the third meeting of the Board held at the Presidential Complex, Aytaç Yüksel, General Manager of EU and Foreign Relations, and Arzu Önsal, Vice President of Climate Change, were present, representing the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
At the meeting, within the framework of the national public diplomacy coordination process, the studies carried out in cooperation since 2019, the point reached within the scope of the National Public Diplomacy Strategy Document and Action Plan, as well as suggestions and targets for the next process were discussed.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun reminded that since the establishment of the Presidential Government System, Türkiye's work in the field of public diplomacy has been carried out under the coordination of the Presidency of Communications and said, "As Türkiye, we are in a great leap forward in the field of public diplomacy as in all areas under the leadership of our President." Altun emphasized that the most critical element in order to further Türkiye's achievements in this field is to carry out this work in cooperation with all stakeholder institutions and organizations.
