The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change and the European Union have signed a significant grant agreement for the reconstruction of municipal infrastructure following the February 2023 earthquakes. The agreement was formalized in a ceremony led by Deputy Minister, Mrs. Fatma Varank, with representatives from Ilbank, the Directorate General of Migration Management, and General Director for European Union and Foreign Relations, Mr. İsmail Tüzgen.

In a social media post, the European Union Delegation to Turkey emphasized that the EU's commitment to supporting Turkey will continue. The signed agreement is crucial in strengthening municipal infrastructure after the earthquake.
