Dutch Ambassador to Ankara Marjanne Kwaasteniet visited Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Birpınar. At the meeting, the importance of acting together in the fight against climate change was mentioned; Consultations were held on Turkey's efforts and regulations within the scope of climate change, the establishment of the Directorate of Climate Change, the Climate Summit efforts, the Climate Law, the scooter regulation and carbon tax. As a result of the consultations, joint opinions were expressed about conducting studies on the fight against climate change and technology transfer between the two countries and sharing information about the "Technical Assistance for Assessment of Turkey's Potential on Transition to Circular Economy" project.
