Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Fatma Varank met with Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister Yamada Kenji, who visited the earthquake area, in Kahramanmaraş.
During the meeting, Fatma Varank conveyed her thanks to her colleague for the assistance provided by the Japanese government to Turkey after the earthquake, and the cooperation studies planned to be carried out within the scope of disaster prevention activities were discussed. Aytaç Yüksel, General Manager of EU and Foreign Relations, also took part in the meeting.
