Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ms. Fatma Varank, held a meeting with the delegations of Azerbaijan and Australia as part of her program in New York.
The meeting, which was also attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Mr. Yalçın Rafayev, focused on Türkiye’s candidacy to host COP31 and opportunities for cooperation in combating climate change.
Prof. Dr. Halil Hasar, President of Climate Change, and Mr. Ali Erhan Yılmaz, Deputy Director General for EU and Foreign Affairs, also took part in the meeting.
