Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, H.E. Fatma Varank, received Ambassador of Denmark Ole Toft and his accompanying delegation at her office.
The meeting addressed bioenergy, biotechnology, biosolutions, food security, food waste, and the sustainability and innovation of plant, animal and human health. In addition, views were exchanged on strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest between Türkiye and Denmark.
Ambassador Toft was accompanied during his visit by Pınar Tunçkol, Türkiye Country Manager of Novonesis, Morten Rasmussen, CEO, and Mohan Puvvada, Regional Director. From Türkiye, İsmail Tüzgen, Director General for EU and Foreign Affairs, and Fatih Turan, Director General for Environmental Management, also attended the meetings.
