Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mr. Ömer Bulut attended the high-level international conference titled “Affordable Housing: Exploring Europe’s Best Solutions”, held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Deputy Director General Mr. Ali Erhan Yılmaz accompanied Mr. Bulut during his visit to Bulgaria. In the panel session, Deputy Minister Bulut delivered a speech highlighting Türkiye’s housing policies, post-disaster reconstruction experience, and successful examples in social housing production. In another session, Mr. Yılmaz also shared Türkiye’s best practices with the participants.
As part of his visit, Mr. Bulut held bilateral meetings with Member of the European Parliament Elena Yoncheva and Chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms – New Beginning Party Delyan Peevski. The meetings focused on cooperation opportunities and experience sharing in housing policies.
