Our Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Mr. Murat Kurum, met with Belgian Minister of Mobility, Climate and Environmental Transition, Mr. Jean-Luc Crucke, in Brussels.
Disaster management was the main agenda item of the meeting. Important projects in the fields of climate change and environment were also discussed. During the talks, Minister Kurum invited his counterpart to the International Zero Waste Forum, to be held in Istanbul on 17–19 October. Minister Kurum stated, “We are ready to enhance our cooperation with Belgium in all fields.”
At the interdelegation meeting, Deputy Minister Ms. Fatma Varank, Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the EU Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, President of Climate Change Prof. Dr. Halil Hasar, and our Director General for EU and Foreign Relations Mr. İsmail Tüzgen were also present.
