Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Mr. Murat Kurum, is conducting an intensive round of diplomatic meetings in Brazil as part of COP30. He first met with Mr. Muhtar Babayev, the Special Envoy for Climate Change to the President of Azerbaijan, followed by a meeting with Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Energy, Mr. Chris Bowen.
Mr. Murat Kurum will continue to hold numerous high-level engagements throughout his visit to Brazil.
Deputy Minister Ms. Fatma Varank, President of Climate Change Prof. Dr. Halil Hasar, Director General for EU and Foreign Affairs Mr. İsmail Tüzgen, and President of the Zero Waste Foundation Mr. Samed Ağırbaş are accompanying the Minister during his meetings.
