Deputy Minister Fatma Varank held a bilateral meeting with Peter Thomson, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for the Ocean, on the margins of the 24th Conference of the Parties to the Barcelona Convention (COP24) in Cairo, Egypt.
Deputy Minister Varank was accompanied by Director General for EU and Foreign Affairs İsmail Tüzgen, Director General for Spatial Planning Yavuz Erdal Kayapınar, and Director General for Environmental Management Fatih Turan.
