Our Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Mr. Ömer Bulut, attended the 12th World Urban Forum held in Cairo, Egypt, on behalf of Türkiye. Speaking at the 'Children and Youth Assembly' session, Mr. Bulut drew attention to the role of youth and children in sustainable urbanization.
Reminding us of the value Türkiye places on children and youth with national holidays, Mr. Bulut stated that greener, more resilient cities are being targeted with the energy of youth and the awareness of children. In his speech, Mr. Bulut also touched upon educational projects such as the "Zero Waste" project and the "Environment and Children's Academy" carried out in Türkiye, as well as our country's post-disaster reconstruction efforts.
