Aytaç Yüksel, General Manager of European Union and Foreign Relations and Head of Operating Structure of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and Head of EU Investments Department and IPA Director Dr. İsmail Raci Bayer visited Konya Solid Waste Management Facility.

Aytaç Yüksel, General Manager of European Union and Foreign Relations and Head of Operating Structure of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and Head of EU Investments Department and IPA Director Dr. İsmail Raci Bayer, with his delegation, visited the Konya Solid Waste Management Facility, the construction of which was completed within the scope of the IPA I period Environmental Operational Program. The facility, which was built within the scope of the 18.3 million Euro project, serves 1 million 367 thousand 241 people.

Konya Solid Waste Management Project consists of a sanitary landfill, rehabilitation of the old dump site, 1 transfer station and a leachate treatment plant.
