Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mr. Murat Kurum met with the Minister of Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Gholam Reza Nuri in Riyadh within the scope of COP16.
In his statement after the meeting, Mr. Murat Kurum said, “As two countries sharing a common geography, we discussed the work we have been carrying out in cooperation regarding environmental problems, drought and desertification. We will continue our contacts to solve environmental and drought-related problems that require international solidarity.”
