The 63rd independence anniversary of the Côte d'Ivoire was celebrated in Ankara. At the night hosted by Ambassador Toure, Minister Mehmet Özhaseki made a speech.
A reception was held in Ankara on the occasion of the 63rd independence anniversary of Côte d'Ivoire and the 10th anniversary of the opening of the country's embassy in Ankara. Hosted by Ambassador Khadidjata Toure, the evening was attended by Mehmet Özhaseki, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Khadidjata Toure, Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire to Ankara, representatives of foreign missions in Ankara and many guests.
Toure, who started his speech by thanking Minister Özhaseki for his participation in the event, drew attention to the close relations of Côte d'Ivoire President Alassane Ouattara and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Toure noted that within the framework of the mutual visits between the two countries at the level of leaders, various cooperation agreements were signed in areas such as security, vocational training, sports, education and trade. Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki, in his speech at the reception, pointed out that the trade volume between Türkiye and Côte d'Ivoire is approaching one billion dollars, stressing that Türkiye's relations based on fairness, mutual gain and respect are reciprocated by African countries and that the trade volume is gradually increasing.
Celebrating the country's independence anniversary, Özhaseki also wished the country success for the Africa Cup to be hosted by Côte d'Ivoire. After the speeches, Özhaseki and Toure cut the cake prepared for the anniversary of independence.
