COP31 President and Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Türkiye, Murat Kurum Continued His Engagements in China

COP31 President and Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Türkiye, Murat Kurum held a series of high-level meetings in the fields of finance and energy on the second day of his official program in China.

Minister Murat Kurum met with Silk Road Fund Chairman Zhu Jun, officials from China Energy Engineering Group and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank President Zou Jiayi. The meetings focused on reconstruction efforts in Türkiye’s earthquake-affected region, the COP31 vision, resilient cities, clean energy, sustainable infrastructure and climate finance.

The discussions also covered renewable energy, smart cities, technology transfer and opportunities for international cooperation.
