COP31 President Murat Kurum Meets with Australian Delegation

COP31 President and Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Türkiye, Murat Kurum, met with the Australian delegation, with whom Türkiye will jointly conduct the COP31 negotiation process, during a breakfast meeting held within the scope of the COP31 Presidency.

During the meeting, preparations for the COP31 Summit to be hosted in Antalya and the upcoming steps in the process were discussed. Minister Murat Kurum stated that they will continue to advance global climate diplomacy through strong coordination and a shared vision.

Minister Murat Kurum also thanked Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen for his kind invitation.
