Deputy Minister Fatma Varank Holds Climate Diplomacy Meetings in Bonn

Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Ms. Fatma Varank held a series of high-level meetings on the sidelines of the Bonn Climate Change Conference in Bonn, Germany.
Ms. Varank met with Mr. Benoit Faraco, France’s Climate Envoy and Head of Delegation responsible for the Ambassador for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC); Ms. Yasmine Fouad, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD); and Mr. Mikko Oikainen, Chair of the Adaptation Fund Board.
The meetings focused on preparations for COP31, climate finance, adaptation policies, and opportunities to strengthen international cooperation on climate action.
