Deputy Minister Fatma Varank Receives Danish Ambassador Ole Toft

Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change H.E. Fatma Varank received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Türkiye, H.E. Ole Toft, at her office.

The meeting was attended by Director General for EU and Foreign Affairs H.E. İsmail Tüzgen and Deputy Director General H.E. Dr. Ali Erhan Yılmaz. During the meeting, Türkiye’s preparations for COP31 were discussed, and views were exchanged on ongoing efforts in the field of climate change.

The importance of the existing cooperation between Türkiye and Denmark was underlined, and both sides expressed their commitment to maintaining dialogue and cooperation in the fields of environment and climate, particularly within the framework of the COP31 process.
