Minister Murat Kurum Receives Delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

Our Minister, Mr. Murat Kurum, received at his office a delegation led by Ms. Elisabetta Falcetti, Managing Director for Türkiye and the Caucasus at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), composed of senior executives responsible for sustainable infrastructure, climate strategy, policy, and public affairs.

During the inter-delegation meeting chaired by our Minister, Mr. Murat Kurum, discussions focused on the reconstruction and recovery efforts carried out following the February 6 earthquakes, environmental infrastructure projects implemented with EBRD financing, as well as ongoing and planned cooperation in the earthquake-affected region. Our Director General for European Union and Foreign Relations, Mr. İsmail Tüzgen, was also present at the meeting.

The meeting also addressed cooperation opportunities in the context of the COP31 process, which Türkiye will host in 2026, as well as climate finance and the green transition.
