The Climate Change Conference, organized by the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) on March 25 – 27, 2015 in Karabük Safranbolu, witnessed the participation of Mr. Ferruh PARMAKSIZ, Head of the Department of European Union Investments, and Ms. Burcu DINCER KARADAYI, Environment and Urbanization Expert. The opening was followed by a session on the effects of climate change and vulnerability. On the second day of the conference, the agenda of the sessions were about 2015 Paris Agreement and the intended nationally determined contributions (INDCs) to be submitted to United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and enhancing the cooperation between ECO and UNFCCC to develop a regional strategy to combat climate change. The third and the last day of the conference included the speeches by high ranking officials from ECO Member States about the 2015 Climate Agreement, and the conference was closed following the presentation of the plaques to the participants after the speech of Mr. Idris Gulluce, Minister of Environment and Urbanization.
