Regional workshop on cost recovery in the waste sector organized by Environment and Climate Regional Accession Network (ECRAN) Secretariat with TAIEX (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument managed by the Directorate-General Neighbourhood and Enlargement negotiations of the European Commission) was held on 18-19 March 2015 in Tirana, Albania with the participation of Civil engineer Erkan ERSOY, Environmental Engineer Selen GÜLTEKIN and Assistant Expert Ahmet Rasim KABUKÇUOĞLU from our Department. On workshop, Representatives from waste management sector of Estonia, Italy and Lithuania shared their experiences on methodologies for cost recovery and economic instruments. Also a brief presentation on cost benefit analysis and financial analysis was given.
