The Minister of Environment and Urbanization (MoEU) Ms. Fatma Güldemet SARI and the Undersecretary of the MoEU Prof. Mustafa ÖZTÜRK participated in an award ceremony for the selection of projects focusing on the Environment and the Urbanization on Wednesday, May 4th.
The competition was co-organized by the MoEU and the Turkey Environmental Protection Foundation (TÜÇEV). Its main aim was to create a “Project Bank” within the Ministry. The competitors were 256 Ministry personnel who submitted 422 projects targeting the competition theme.
Ms. SARI, speaking at the ceremony said, “I wish that our work for the Project Bank, which has been prepared within the framework of our Ministry’s new vision, brings luck, wellness, and goodness to our country and nation and that it will lead to the implementation of many new projects. The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization family will set the path toward and contribute to the development of citizen and environmentally friendly, aesthetical, which will rise to their potential.”
Following the opening remarks, the owners of the top three projects were awarded and seven honorable mentions were awarded at the ceremony. Furthermore, a Thank You plaque was presented to the Project Evaluation Committee.
