Drinking Water Supply Project for Bulancak

The Monthly Progress Meeting for Bulancak Water and Waste Water Project was held on April, 26th. The current state of the Drinking Water Supply and Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) components of the project, which is managed by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization Department of the European Union Investments (DoEUI), were evaluated at the meeting.

 
The meetings were attended by Engineer Mr. Fatih Özyer from Technical Implementation Unit of DoEUI and representatives from Bulancak Municipality, consultant and contractor companies. 

During the meeting the Drinking Water Supply and WWTP components were discussed. The Drinking Water Supply component which comprises the construction of elevation centers, networks, reservoirs and wells is 95% complete. Construction of the works of the WWTP, collector lines and pumping stations are ongoing. 

The total budget of the project is approximately 22 million Euro and it is financed by both national and European Union funds under the IPA Programme.
