35th International Impact Assessment Conference was held on 20-23 April 2015 in Florance, Italy.
Quality Assurance and Control Unit Coordinator Ali ALBAYRAK from our Department has attended to the European Union Forum which was held after the opening session of the Conference as a panelist. Mr Albayrak has presented the paper on “EU-EIA Policy for IPA Projects in Turkey” at the panel that was chaired by Aurel CIOBANU, Director at the European Commission DG Environment. Information on implementations of EIA at the IPA projects process of EU whic is financially supporting the environmental infrastructure projects of our country was presented and comments of the European Commission on the environmental reports within the IPA application files were examined. Examples of projects on solid waste and waste water teatment plants carried out in our country were also presented.
Closing session of the Conference was held on 23 April 2015 and the presentations concerning the next years Conferance which was planned to be held in Nagoya, Japan were followed.
