The Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Mr. Murat Kurum, met with Lebanon's Minister of Environment, Mr. Nasir Yassin, to discuss matters of environmental cooperation.
After attending a bilateral meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Mr. Kurum held a one-on-one discussion with the Lebanese Minister of Environment. The Director-General for European Union and Foreign Relations, Mr. İsmail Tüzgen, was also at the meeting.
During the meeting, the importance of environmental cooperation was emphasized not only for the two countries but also for the region’s sustainable future. Minister Kurum stated, "We are confident that our meeting will strengthen our cooperation and accelerate our relations in various fields. Under the leadership of President, Turkey will continue to offer all possible support for the prosperity, stability, and security of Lebanon and its people."
