Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, had a bilateral meeting with Ovais Sarmad, Deputy Executive Director of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
The Climate Council, organized for the first time in Turkey by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, also hosted diplomatic contacts. Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum had a bilateral meeting with Ovais Sarmad, Deputy Executive Director of the UN Climate Change Framework Convention, within the framework of the Council held at Konya Selçuklu Congress Center. At the meeting, Turkey's efforts to combat climate change and projects to be implemented with the aim of "green development revolution" were discussed.
