EU Commission and the EU Delegation to Turkey visited the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Department of European Union Investments Department on October 15, 2014. A meeting was hold with the participation of our Deputy Undersecretary Mr. Murat ZORLUOĞLU, our Director Mr. Ferruh PARMAKSIZ, Ms. Vittoria ALLIATA-DI VILLAFRANCA (Director of the Administrative Capacity Building and South-East Europe Directorate of EU Commision), Mr. Argyrios PISIOTIS (Head of IPA and accession negotiations section), Ms. Simona POHLOVA (Programme Manager-EU policies & IPA), Mr. Francois BEGEOT (Head of Economic and Social Development Section–EU Delegation to Turkey), Ms. Elif Ceyda TORCU (Sector Manager of Environment and Sustainable Development & Economic and Social Development Section – EUD to Turkey).
During the meeting, budgets of projects in Environment Operational Programme, human resources strategy, the related opinions and suggestions were notably presented. Afterwards, the projects under the Programme were reviewed.
