Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Mr. Murat Kurum, hosted the Australian Minister of Climate Change and Energy, Mr. Chris Bowen, and his accompanying delegation at our Ministry.
Minister, Mr. Murat Kurum, emphasized our country's determination to host COP31, that we are logistically ready, and that we can create a bridge between developed and developing countries. Emphasizing that Türkiye has significant experience and accumulation in combating climate change and green transformation, Mr. Murat Kurum expressed his wish to work in cooperation with Australia and WEOG countries during Türkiye's COP31 Presidency.
