Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mehmet Özhaseki accepted United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Vice President, Europe-Central Asia Region Director Ivana Zivkovic and accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, joint projects carried out by Turkey and UNDP for the protection and development of the environment were discussed. In his statement after the meeting, Minister Özhaseki said, “Our only goal in all our projects, especially our Zero Waste Movement, which is carried out under the auspices of Mrs. Emine Erdoğan and celebrated as the International Zero Waste Day on March 30, is to reach a greener, cleaner and more sustainable world. We will continue to work towards the 2053 Net Zero Emissions target set by our President".
