President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited Ukraine at the invitation of President Volodymyr Zelenskiy for official contacts. Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, was also present during the visit.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was welcomed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy with an official ceremony at the Marinskiy Palace. Following the meeting here, the two leaders chaired the High Level Strategic Council meeting. After the talks, 8 agreements were signed between Turkey and Ukraine in various fields.

Speaking at the joint press conference held later, President Erdoğan said: “I would like to reiterate that we continue to support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, including Crimea.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, within the scope of his contacts in Ukraine, also received the national leader of the Crimean Tatar Turkish people and Ukrainian Deputy Mustafa Abdulcemil Kırmızıoğlu and his accompanying delegation.
